Does Gordon Have a 3 Michelin Star Restaurant?

Gordon Ramsay is a world-renowned celebrity chef, best known for his fiery personality and ability to whip up amazing dishes. He has starred in numerous TV shows, such as Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef, and has written numerous cookbooks. But perhaps one of his greatest achievements is the fact that he holds a record 16 Michelin stars in total.

A Michelin star is the highest rating given to a restaurant by the Michelin Guide.

In order to receive one star, the restaurant must provide an “exceptional cuisine in its category”. To receive two stars, the food must be of an “excellent cooking” that’s “worth a detour”. And three stars signify that the food served is “exceptional cuisine worth a special journey”.

Gordon currently holds seven Michelin stars across three different restaurants: Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London; Pétrus in London; and Maze Grill Park Walk in London.

However, none of these restaurants carry a coveted three-star rating from Michelin.

Despite this fact, Gordon still has an impressive record of 15 other Michelin stars under his belt for his other restaurants located around the world. His flagship restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, remains one of the most successful restaurants in London and was first awarded three stars back in 2001 – making it the first restaurant to do so since 1974.

Gordon also has two two-star restaurants – both located in London: Pétrus and Maze Grill Park Walk. The former was re-awarded its two stars back in 2017 after it underwent extensive renovations.

In conclusion, while Gordon Ramsay does not have any 3-star Michelin rated restaurants at present, he does have an impressive record of 15 other stars across various restaurants around the world.
