In Arkansas there are two iconic dishes: fried catfish and cheese dip. Fried catfish originated in the Delta region of the state and can be found on menus throughout Arkansas today. Cheese dip was invented at the Mexico Chiquito restaurant in North Little Rock in 1935.

California‘s most famous food item has to be In-N-Out Burger’s Double Double animal style burger — two beef patties topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and special spread all on a freshly baked bun.

Colorado, meanwhile has Rocky Mountain Oysters as its signature dish — deep fried bull testicles served with cocktail sauce.

Connecticut, meanwhile is known for its New Haven style pizza — thin crust pies loaded up with garlic oil or olive oil before being topped off with tomato sauce.

Delaware, meanwhile has scrapple as its iconic dish — diced pork scraps combined into a mush then formed into patties before being fried.
